Week 1 — Project 365
NEW YEAR, NEW PROJECT...
Happy 2024, everyone!
There's something so enticing about a new year. New possibilities, new habits, new goals... I like making New Year's resolutions as much as the next person, but my follow-through has always needed a little work.
Well, this year I am going to try really hard to see this project through: my 365 Photo-A-Day project for 2024! I'm hoping a weekly post commitment will help keep it in the forefront of my mind day after day, because I really want this to help me grow my skills by seeing a photographic opportunity in everything. Every moment deserves to be recognized, and I want to be there to capture it all.

Happy New Year! 🥳 We quietly rang in the new year, just the three of us with hot cocoa and popcorn, and lounged around the entire day. #notmadaboutit
JAN 2
We explored the great (but cold) outdoors with cousins today! I swear the kids went up and down those stairs 20 times at least. 🥾
JAN 3
What a day. Someone called & threatened Rowan's school. 😡 The school & police were on top of it, which I'm thankful for, but I'll never understand why people would threaten to hurt children. I'm so happy my baby came home to me today.

Before getting ready for school Friday morning. 🥰 He's been listening and following directions so well as we get ready in the morning - our AM time used to be a bit rough. I'm so proud of the progress he makes each and every day!

We had a fun day! It was Rowan's best friend's birthday party, and it was at the trampoline park. He was in heaven!
JAN 7
Last night before bed. I love his galaxy projector light — it creates the prettiest colors!
So, I learned this week that I need to broaden my spectrum in terms of subjects I photograph...
But how can I not take pictures of him?!? 😂😍
Nevertheless, this week's goal is to try some new material... 😅 Hope you all have a fabulous week, and keep warm! xo
