Goodbye 2023, Hello 2024!
Well, that's a wrap on my THIRD YEAR of my photography business!! ððŧ
I can't believe how far I've come in just three years. Some of my old stuff even seems embarrassing to me, but I try to remind myself I did my best with the knowledge I had at the time. The important part is that I continually grow & get better!

And now here we are... 24 hours until 2024! And I can't wait to see what new opportunities and lessons I learn in the next 365 days.
Goals for 2024
âïļ BLOGGING â I'd like to get back into the habit of blogging. I used to blog about books I read, and review them (because I'm a mega geek over books! ðĪ), but they fell to the back burner after I had my son, Rowan. I'd really like to incorporate that back into my life, and this time I could write about my photography journey!
âŠïļ TURNAROUND â Another big goal of mine this year is to reduce turnaround time for galleries. As I get better with editing and scheduling sessions (another big challenge is knowing what's "too much" on my plate at a time ð), I find that I'm getting galleries to my clients quicker - that makes me so happy, and I know that makes my clients happy, too! ð
ðĨū EXPLORE â I want to get outdoors more and tuck away special spots for future sessions in my mind for later! Central Ohio hopefully has a little bit more to offer than I realize. ðĪŠ
ð· 365 PROJECT â I've tried to do these in the past and I've just always ended up quitting. Well, I don't want to be a lame-o quitter anymore! One of my biggest goals I have this year is this project - the reason I even picked up a camera again after 12+ years was because I had a 2-year-old, time was going by so quickly, and I wanted to document my life, as well as others. (Still the best decision I've ever made!)
ð§ EMAIL LIST â Aaaand here's your sign to sign up if you haven't already! Because I send out birthday discounts, advanced mini session info and signups, model calls, and contests! Starting this year, you'll get about 1-2 emails per month regarding all the things I just mentioned above. ð
ðĐðŧâðĪâðĻð― MODEL CALLS â I have so many ideas for mini sessions this year! (Just some teasers: paint fights; mommy & me; fair minis!)
ðĢïļ SOCIAL â I need to utilize social media & Google business more! I definitely noticed an uptick in new clients this year (yay Facebook advertising and Google!) and I'd love to reach out and meet new people again in 2024.
âĻ ORGANIZATION â I need to clean up my files on my photography hard drive, and I also need to make a space in my new garage for all of my photography equipment... ð
